Yes, SSL.com’s Basic SSL certificate does work with subdomains. You may select one Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) to protect with your Basic SSL certificate. This FQDN may be either a root domain (for example, yourdomain.com) or a subdomain (e.g. support.yourdomain.com).

Whichever you choose, we’ll also cover the www. subdomain of your selection for no extra charge. For example, if you’re ordering your Basic SSL certificate to protect support.yourdomain.com, it will also protect www.support.yourdomain.com.

Please let us know if you have any questions about the Basic SSL Certificate or any other SSL.com products. We’re always happy to help – just contact us via live chat, email (Support@SSL.com) or call us (877-SSL-Secure).
